Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin County offers a variety of volunteer experiences. We have several different programs, each serving a unique population of children. Serves children ages 5-15 in our local community. We serve children from all different backgrounds and neighborhoods. We ask volunteers for an 18 month commitment to spend a few hours each week with the child. Big Brothers are matched with Little Brothers, and Big Sisters are matched with Little Sisters or with younger Little Brothers ages 5-8. We also match Big Couples and Big Families with one child. Activities may include going to the park, walking the dog, going fishing, participating in arts and crafts projects, cooking dinner together, or other activities they both enjoy.Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin County has partnered with area schools to offer volunteer opportunities within the school environment. The School-based Programs are very flexible and work around the volunteers' schedules, while still allowing volunteers and children to form meaningful relationships. Volunteers need to commit for the school year and meet with their student for 1 hour a week. Volunteers have fun helping their students with academics, talking, playing games, or doing arts and crafts activities.Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin County has a number of ways to be involved:BE A BIG!!
