Letter from Little Brother Kyle to Big Brother Dan (matched from 2-3-1997 to June 2007)
Thank you Dan for coming to my graduation party. That meant a lot to me. I hope you enjoyed it. You also mean a lot to me over the years you have been the best role model and my bestest friend in my life. I am grateful that we were matched together. I had a lot of fun with you in all the things we did. I'm glad I got to know you and your family as much as I did. They mean a lot to me too! BB Brant
I love Ty. We get along really well. We laugh a lot. Our interaction is very good. He's growing up a lot, he's learning. We've seen a lot of changes. We've seen improvement, definitely. Brant's self-proclaimed purpose in life is to be a positive and supportive person in the world and for Ty especially. He's big into promoting independence with Ty as his physical disabilities and can't-do attitude often prevent him from trying to things that he really is capable of. Brant says that sometimes it's difficult, but it's really empowering in the end. He gave an example of throwing a rock at the river. He just continued to tell Ty that he could do it until finally Ty did and then he got a big smile on his face.

LS Tressa reports: "Oh, she's the most cool, wonderful, best friend a girl could ever have."

BS Sharon
He's brightened my life more than I could every say. I get far more out of this relationship than he does. Sharon reported to Renee that the other day, while walking to the mail box, Cody held Sharons hand. This was really special for Sharon and Renee thought it was sweet that she got so much out of it. Sharon also has developed a relationship with Renee. They have tea together when she drops Cody off and has become a big part of their lives since Renee?s husband was deployed.

BS Tara
Tara says: "I love her. She is great. I enjoy her immensely."

BC-Linda-Gary
She and her husband had Michael and his Mother over for Valentine's dinner and Michael helped to cook the meal as well as making s'mores. They have also assisted him with his homework as well as going snowboarding.

BB Nick
He and his little have been working on his pond for the turtles this spring as well as going swimming and fishing. Nick is very happy with his match and thinks Bryce is quite the kid. He finds him to be bright, interesting and he feels that they are developing a good relationship

LB Bryce
Mom is very happy with the match and thinks that Nick is a definite positive influence in her son's life and has given Bryce several opportunities to especially learn about new things. Bryce just looks forward to his time with Nick and described him as a nice guy!

BS Rebecca
She and her Little purchased some bulbs and recently planted them for this spring.

LB Randy
She told me that Randy had been up to the field house with Sheldon for a basketball game and had a great time about a week ago. He apparently received a team shirt signed by all of the Bobcat team which he was really proud of. When I spoke to Randy she said he thought that going to the game was really kool since his Big was on the team.

LS Katrina
Katrina said she loves her BS and that she's cool. Susan said that LS always comes home excited and seems to be having a ball. She said the relationship is natural. Both are obviously pleased with match. Susan said she can't imagine a better relationship.

BB Nehls
Nels has recently seen Craig's art work. They have been going to see animated art, especially about cars. Craig is really enthused about it and Nels laughs when he gets to complaining about how much better he could do it. Nels said Craig is sharing a lot more about himself (his art work) and about school. Craig is opening up more to Nels. Nels said he and his friends have noticed how much more self confidence Craig seems to have.
